Ex-Ald. Andrew Rear died this morning at 8:30 at the Park house, aged 49 years, after an illness of several months. Mr. Rear was well and favorably known to a large circle of friends as a good business man, an obliging neighbor and kind father. He came to Grand Forks six years ago and has been fully identified with the interests of the city, having served a term as member of the city council in a creditable manner to himself and with profit to the city. He leaves a wife and four small children to mourn their irreparable loss. The funeral will take place on Saturday, of which further notice will be given.
